Red Rocks and Boulder Canyon

After the race we swung by Red Rocks to give Candace a taste of Colorado. It never gets old.

After lunch we met up with David (who'd been taking an exam while we did the trail run) and drove up Boulder Canyon. We scoured the rocks for climbers, hiked to Boulder Falls, stopped in Nederland to ride the Carousel of Happiness (and put on an impromptu puppet show), and drove up the Peak to Peak Highway to Brainard Lake. The road to the lakes was still closed for winter but we had a pretty drive. By the time we got back to Denver we were ravenous and a stop at Pizzeria Locale was just the ticket. Fun day!
