After our two-night getaway, Daniel drove to Dulles to fly home and I drove back to Richmond. The boys and I had a fun two days with Katie and Andre. They are so warm and welcoming, and their home is adorable. I love how it is a melding of the two of them: Andre's incredible art everywhere (it looks like an art gallery in there) and Katie's vintage bohemian style.
Katie and I took the boys to a beautiful local park and after they went to bed, we talked into the wee hours. As per usual.
It's so green and lush! Virginia and Maryland look like a tropical rainforest to me after living in Colorado this long.

We had to get some famous BBQ. Owen literally fell asleep on the picnic table.
