a real train

In honor of the train theme of our Christmas, we surprised the boys with a special family outing. We drove 45 minutes into the mountains to the adorable historic town of Georgetown for a Christmas train ride up Clear Creek canyon.

Clickety-clacking over a high trestle bridge definitely got my vertigo-prone stomach in knots!
