13 years

Thirteen years ago on a hot summer night in June, I married my best friend. It was the wisest decision I've ever made. I look back with profound gratitude that God brought us together--and that, after several near misses, we finally figured out we were meant for each other. The deepest emotions can't be put into words, not really. So, instead, here are a few photos of a special day that I will treasure always (despite bad photos scanned from our album--time to upgrade those babies to digital).

I love you even more today than I did then, Daniel.

Let's keep growing old together, like two branches of one tree.

And then the real adventure began, starting with a two-month honeymoon road-tripping around northeast Canada. The best part of that trip was our magical, crazy back-woods, portage-fest canoe trip in Algonquin Provincial Park.

And yet I wish but for the thing I have:
My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to thee,
The more I have, both are infinite.
