In the morning, we woke up to find ourselves looking out the back door to this beauty. Honestly, Lake Crescent has the clearest water Daniel and I have ever seen. It has to do with the fact the lake was formed from a glacier.
We had a beautiful, easy hike to Marymere Falls. Everything is dripping in green!
During our various hikes, Jack had fun taking photos of lots of different kinds of mushrooms. Here are some of the ones he found!
Then it was time to drive back to Seattle. We stopped in Port Angeles for fish and chips, crossed over on the Kingston ferry one more time, waved at Mt. Rainier and Mr. Baker, and headed back to Dan and Jill's cozy home for one last night together before flying home. What an incredible trip!
