In the afternoon, we headed over to Third Beach, one of three beaches in the La Push section. After a 1.4-mile hike through old-growth forest, we arrived at the beach.
Gorgeous! And worth every step. It was cool to see the tents set up on the beach. I would love to come back and hike/camp down the coast one day. Of course, we had lots of fun looking for sea creatures.

Then it was time to hike back out, into the glories of the emerald-green woods.
