What a wonderful day! On Saturday, we drove up to Eldora to cross-country ski. Daniel, our expert skier, was a very patient teacher. There was a lot of slipping, laughing, feeling proud of ourselves, landing on our rear-ends, some tears and later some jumps, drinking hot chocolate, and beautiful snowy woods.

On the way home, we stopped in Boulder for an amazing dinner at Pizzeria Locale. Now that was my kind of day! It's been a while since we've been up to the mountains. All that casual grandeur and immense beauty feed us like a soul-tonic. Can't wait to do it again soon.
