Muskoka

Just a typical day at the cottage: daily early-morning fishing expeditions with Daniel, a little canoe ride over to hunt for golf balls, a fabulous fresh lunch on the dock, swimming and general mayhem, an amazing dinner, puzzles and games, and a (very chilly) late-night dip.

Rinse and repeat for seven days.

Add in nature walks down to the marsh.

More canoeing and kayaking.

Making tea over a campfire with Nana. The kids love these tipis!

Knitting.
(This year I taught Skylar to purl and Jack to knit. Kids learn SO fast!)

More exploring in the woods and marsh.

A cottage-full of amazing cooks and foodies.

Goofballs.

And most important, long days on the dock and in the water. Even in early September with leaves starting to change. Who cares about a little rain here and there?
