The boys had a great day at school. As Room Parent, I helped organize Owen's party. It was really fun. My friend Celeste, our class party planner, did the lion's share, including making the adorable photo booth.

Experiment making bubbly baking soda & vinegar hearts. As you can tell from the video, the kids LOVED it.
One of the moms is a professional baker. Her strawberry-filled chocolate cupcakes with vanilla bean buttercream frosting and chocolate candy toppers were incredible!
Meanwhile, over in Jack's class, more Valentine's fun was underway.
When we got home, we were all pretty tired. I made shrimp fettucine with arugula. Daniel gave me gorgeous flowers and I gave him a box of chocolates. We all exchanged cards and enjoyed this no-bake cheesecake I have been making for Daniel for Valentine's Day since we were dating--that's 16 years!
