Claire

Last Tuesday, my cousin Claire passed away after a long battle with cancer. She leaves behind her husband Tom and four young children.

I didn't know Claire well. We only saw each other at a handful of family gatherings. But she had a beautiful glow about her and seemed so energetic and full of zest for life.

A lot of my East Coast family made the trek up to New Hampshire for the funeral over the weekend. I'm sad I couldn't be there with them.

My heart aches for Tom and his children, and for all of us who will miss beautiful Claire and who she was in our family. But I am grateful that her long, hard struggle is over and she is at peace in the arms of God. Please keep her family, especially Tom and the children, in your prayers.
