You may notice a costume change for Jack. We had a fun time making his robot costume, but when it came time to leave, he was so hot and uncomfortable (dryer vent arms, perhaps?) that he burst into tears. He'd been wearing the costume all day for his school party and parade, and he was over it. So he wore last year's dragon costume for the rest of the night. Oh, well.

We love our neighborhood. Not only is it historic, walkable, close to downtown, near Erin, and starting to attract more and more great small businesses (not to mention one of Colorado's first Trader Joe's!), but we also have truly amazing neighbors. There are so many young families here. It's definitely a city neighborhood, and of course there are problems and limitations that come with that, but overall we are so grateful to live in such a fantastic hood.
