the deep blue sea and green valley sunsets

Where is home these days? It's with Daniel and the boys but when I'm with my family in Maryland, I also feel like I'm home. It never feels like there's enough time, but this summer we got to stay two whole weeks. What a treat to sink in, relax and just be normal together.

Funny how we threw a Crab Fest party out in Denver and ordered Maryland blue crabs straight from the dock. But when I go home, we never get bay crabs. We're spoiled (and lazy)!

Daniel and Vivian's amazing hospitality

Summer wouldn't be summer without a trip to Butler's Orchard.

Check out those giant blackberries!

Sour cherry pies: Grandpa's favorite!

The berry buttermilk cake didn't turn out pretty but it got Andre's approval nonetheless.

Dinner out with beautiful Jonalee. Hard to believe we've been friends since we were 15!

There's no place like home.
